Maine is also the number one state for wild blueberry production. Other important agricultural products include maple syrup and potatoes.
Maine's wealth of natural resources results in a delicious variety of local foods. Some of the best known dishes include lobster rolls, clam chowder, fried soft-shelled clams, broiled scallops, blueberry desserts, and many others.
